Bachelor of Biblical Studies in Missions
The Bachelor of Biblical Studies in Missions is for students who are called to bring the Gospel to unreached and under-reached areas. Students will develop a solid understanding of the Bible and improve on the skills necessary to study the Bible. In addition, they will receive additional training that is designed to provoke a heart for missions and equip them with the skills to be able to spread the Gospel.
One requirement of all students who graduate from the Missions program is that they must complete a missions internship in Botswana, Africa. While there, they will take additional classes with a missionary and get on the field experience working with the missionary.
Male students are also required to complete the Doctrinal Exam as well as an oral defense of their answers. This is to ensure that students have developed an answer and an understanding on a wide range of questions dealing with the Bible and the Baptist faith.
